gatherings

Founded in 2017, our Gatherings are a place and resource for the women of Atlanta to learn and grow together. These events are free and open to women of every age, stage, and season. They provide the opportunity for community with other women who are also pursuing personal growth and spiritual development. You’re invited to connect with new and old friends, learn from other's stories of courage and faith, and dig deep into topics that touch your life.

Cultivate Gatherings are guided by our deeply held belief that you are loved by a good God, and that your worth is not tied to how much you do, the impressiveness of your resume, or the fullness of your calendar. When you live rooted and established in this love, you cultivate joy in the everyday, courage to face your fears and insecurities, and freedom to live as you were created.

Every topic, speaker, and song is selected with you in mind. Every detail, from the refreshments to the decor and the personal touches, are intentionally prepared to communicate that your worth is unchanging, unshakable, and rooted in grace.  Cultivate is a place you can see old friends, meet new acquaintances, and receive truth and encouragement for whatever stage, season, or struggle you might be facing.

Through our Gatherings, we hope to spread this message of love, providing you with the inviting environment and tangible resources to cultivate joy, courage and freedom in your life.

CULTIVATE GATHERING

Building Emotional Resilience
March 27th | 7:30PM

How do we learn to cope with uncertainty? How do we face our disappointments and setbacks rather than letting them write a narrative over our lives?
How do we develop the confidence to handle stressors and challenges?

We build Emotional Resilience.

Emotional resilience is the learned ability to handle stressful situations.  It is the ability not to just cope, but to also bounce back from and face disappointments and setbacks.  Emotional resilience is the soul muscle that allows us to handle whatever life throws at us.

We are honored and thrilled to have therapist and bestselling author Dr. Chinwé Williams join us for our upcoming Gathering. Chinwé will discuss how to build emotional resilience and manage emotional triggers. As we face increased uncertainty and anxiety, we needs these skills, and our children do as well. By building our own emotional resilience, we can cultivate strong connections and emotional resilience in the children we love and support.

Chinwé will share insights from her upcoming book Calm, Courageous, and Connected: A Parent’s Guide to Raising Emotionally Resilient Children where she offers practical strategies to nurture emotional resilience and shows adults how to harness the power of connection to help kids learn to manage big emotions so they can thrive at home, at school, and in their relationships.

Whether you are a parent, grandparent, aunt, coach or teacher, this Gathering will equip you with the tools you need to face change and adversity with more confidence and courage while also supporting and guiding the next generation to be emotionally healthy and resilient.

We need emotional resilience.
The young people we love and support need emotional resilience.
This is a night is for all of us.

It’s our hope that our Cultivate Gatherings leave you feeling
inspired and equipped to walk in more joy, courage, and freedom.

Our Gatherings are free and open to women of all ages and stages.
All are welcome so please feel free to invite friends and family!
