premarital couples counseling

Before your big day, take time to learn more about each other and invest in your future together.

PREPARE/ENRICH PREMARITAL PROGRAM

As you prepare for your wedding day and your future life together, your thoughts can get understandably wrapped up in decisions about flowers, photography, who should sit where, and should you go with the fish or the chicken.  Planning for your wedding can be simultaneously exciting and exhausting.

But in the midst of all these plans, you also want to take the opportunity to PREPARE for your life together.  Premarital counseling is an excellent investment in your future.  Studies show that couples who engage in premarital counseling are better equipped to handle the transition to married life.  Premarital counseling gives couples the opportunity to learn more about each other, intentionally discuss topics that will arise in the future, and learn skills for better communication and conflict resolution.

At Cultivate, we offer the PREPARE/ENRICH Program, which is a  leading relationship inventory utilized by relationship counselors across the country. With PREPARE/ENRICH, couples will take an assessment and the couples counselor will provide feedback and therapeutic guidance based on their results. As part of the feedback process, the program teaches the couple relevant relationship skills like communication and conflict resolution.

Our Certified PREPARE/ENRICH Facilitators Emily Giattina, LCSW and Becca Hamilton, MA, APC, NCC help premarital couples prepare for marriage (PREPARE) and married couples enrich their marriage (ENRICH) by increasing their awareness of relationship strengths and growth areas and providing them with skills to improve their  relationship.
