Our personal stories reflect who we understand ourselves to be, how we relate to others, and how we make meaning of our experiences. Our stories shape us, AND we also get to shape our stories, so how we tell the stories of our lives matters. Stories can keep us stuck, but they also have the power to help us grow and become. In this 8 week group, we will explore the major influences that have informed our personal narratives, identify helpful and unhelpful beliefs we've taken on as a result, and practice new ways of sharing our stories that help us feel seen and known.

This group is for you if

You feel stuck in your efforts to move beyond painful experiences and the limiting beliefs and deep wounds that so often accompany them...

You've outgrown old roles or stories about yourself that used to fit but don't reflect who you know yourself to be in this chapter or season of your life...

You're growing in your self-understanding and are in the process of embracing stories that reflect your true self…

Whether you're returning to work or staying home, you don't have to go through this alone. Join facilitator Emily Giattina Schneider, LCSW, PMH-C, and come as you are — no shower required, spit-up on your shirt is welcome, and fussy babies are absolutely okay! All feelings are valid here!

Together, we’ll share the highs and lows of early motherhood, support one another, and grow through honest conversation. Bring your questions, your wins, your “I have no idea what I’m doing” moments — and of course, your baby and favorite morning drink. Bagels and cream cheese will be provided and together we will build community.
